Who We Are
Dear dog owner
I have grown up with dogs, large and small, dominant and shy, and have huge respect for our loyal friends. I’m not Cesar Millan but they seem to really like me and are very at home in our surroundings. My husband and I are wellies /townies people and regardless of the weather enjoy taking Nyah, our soppy dobermann and her guest friends out for long walks. It does us all good!
We are firm but fair and teach/remind them with a carrot not stick (gravy bones on tap! – when allowed of course).
Our home is spacious with a large garden and paddock where they can play and socialise. Guest dogs are always with us as part of the family, watching TV or lying by my feet while I cook (just in case they hear the odd ‘oops’ and a morsel drops). Amazing how they are always on alert while they pretend to sleep.
Our daily routine is to go for a long morning walk somewhere. Favourite destinations are Stoughton, Stansted, Kingley Vale, Centurion Way, Woodend, Prinsted, after which we return home and relax. In the afternoon we go out to the paddock or garden for a run around where there is usually a ball or two in play. Then its home time or dinner, and then bed. This daily routine seems to spend their energy and they end the day happy and tired.
Our ethos is to adopt and respect your doggie routines. It is important to us that you are relaxed and comfortable about the care your dog will receive whilst with us. We endeavour for it to be a Home away from Home.
There is ample space should our furry friends not be feeling sociable or energetic, for them each to have their own quiet area.
The dogs are always supervised.
We are fully licensed by Chichester District Council and insured.

Dog sitting – Day care
Most important for you is that we offer flexible hours to suit you.
Some of you need to get to work and require an early drop off, others need some flexibility re pick up times. Maybe you just want ‘a day off from dog caring’ or have a last minute commitment or unforeseen emergency. We understand, and work around your schedule to make it seamless and minimum dog stress for you.
Overnight
Off on holiday or going to visit friends for the weekend or just a busy time with no time for ‘Fido’, we are happy to include him/her into our daily routine. They will either sleep with Nyah or they can go to a separate room. They aren’t allowed on sofas, upstairs or in our bedroom areas. Thats for people.
Most importantly, we are flexible to fit in with your plans. Just let us know what would suit you.
We are located on the West Sussex / Hampshire border on the outskirts of Chichester.

My anxious dog spent 4 nights with Catherine and looked a very relaxed boy from the photos she sent me during his stay, which meant a relaxed mummy who didn’t have to worry! Her home and garden are very secure and in a lovely location. I almost don’t want to write this review as that will mean Catherine will be even more popular! Winnie has never been to daycare before so we were worried how she would cope. We needn’t have worried as she ran straight to Catherine and didn’t even look back as we left! We had photos all day and she was a ver my happy (and exhausted!) pooch at the end of the day. Thank you Catherine!
